| JC draws inspiration from his
love of nature and his bi-cultural background to create his
beautiful art jewelry. His designs combine clean lines, soft
curves and geometric shapes which enhance the beauty of the
natural stones used in each piece.
Aguirre’s artistic ability is not limited to design only.
He is a self-taught artist who possesses a rarely seen combination
of skill as a metal smith and gem cutter. Working in precious
metals, each signed piece is individually hand-wrought by the
artist, and features the finest gemstones from around the world.
JC grew up in Los Angeles, CA but has made Portland, OR his
home for the past ten years. His career in jewelry making began
in 1993 with his move to the Pacific Northwest.
